Agency: Information Technology & Telecommunications
The Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) is responsible for the City's use of existing and emerging technologies in government operations, and its delivery of services to the public through electronic media. DoITT works to improve the government's efficiency through technology. DoITT is responsible for NYC.gov, the 311 services, maintaining individual City agency websites and technology services, and anything related to the use of technology within the government. DoITT also handles complaints from constituents related to certain technical services, such as telephone and cable operators, and then works with the service providers to improve service within New York City.
