The Criminal Justice Bureau serves as the operational liaison between the NYPD and other agencies involved in the criminal justice community, including the five county District Attorney's Offices, the New York State Office of Court Administration, the State

Division of Criminal Justice Services, and the Mayor's Criminal Justice Coordinator's Office. Often, investigations of crimes must be coordinated between many government groups and this bureau is responsible for property communicating with other parties.
