What your money funds:

This program funds the Bureau of Public Information and Community Affairs, which is responsible for the communication of DSNY's policies and procedures both internally and externally. The Bureau works directly with all aspects of media, and monitors the general public's opinions of the Department's performance. The Bureau also coordinates all DSNY special events, ceremonies, and community outreach programs.

1. The Department has video and photo units, which are operated of out this bureau and create educational and instructional presentations.
2. This program collects and disseminates information regarding changes in street cleaning or collection data, or other information related to public services.
